Childcare Courses...

Our range of childcare courses are designed to suit everyone from our 14-16 schools programme, to qualified practitioners wanting to enhance their skills and further their professional development.



Placement opportunities for childcare students are provided through Chatterbox Day Nusery and Out of School Club in Birdwell, Barnsley and Chatterbox Academy in Barnsley where staff mentor the students and support them in providing acitivites with the children.

Some courses have subsidised places available.

Some of our courses have a training allowance and you could claim travel expenses too!

Take 2 Training is a private training company offering courses in childcare, hairdressing, beauty therapies and all areas of performing arts.

Operating over 3 sites we have a wide variety of programmes designed to suit everyone from 12 upwards.

Take 2 Training at the Take 2 Centre in Birdwell is an impressive performing arts facility where students have access to a professional theatre and dance / rehearsal studios.

Take 2 Training Academy located in Barnsley town centre accomodates both our childcare courses and our hair and beauty progammes.

Accredited with 4 awarding bodies Take 2 specialise in training students to achieve nationally recognised qualifications in all our subject areas.

In addition to our accredited programmes Take 2 offers a range of bespoke courses providing a more flexible approach to learning.
